Moving from the agrarian life to urban living changed my impressions of squirrels as I began to see them as elicit creatures. I always wondered why someone would refer in slang to describe a person with creepy carriage as squirrelly. They seemed so athletic and harmless working diligently searching for food. Certainly they must be good family members. And they even looked rather cute. Living in their mystic nests so uplifted in the swinging trees having such beautiful panoramic views not bothered with the rain or storms and having so many incompatible birds for neighbors gave me a bit of jealousy at their sheer freedom. I never thought I could list many reasons for the character of squirrels in my life.
