Identification and General description of the Community

The community visited in Community assiduity was Wyandanch, a town located in Suffolk County New York. Wyandanch is spark off of the township of Babylon; NY the Babylon Township includes the town Deer Park, East Farmingdale, wedlock Amityville, Gilgo, Oak Beach, Captree, West Gilgo Beach, wedlock Babylon, West Babylon, West Islip, North Lindenhurst, West Islip and Wheatley Heights.
Now in the year 2012 Wyandanch is populated by 10.48 pct whites. There are 76.93 pct African Americans and 17.53 percent Hispanics in Wyandanch and only 0.71 percent American Indian. The population consists of 11,134 residents as per NY census bureau. The estimated age factors of the makeup of the population are 25-34 which a very young population is.
