I. Course Description

This course studies the parting that lead plays in organizational success with a focus on the importance of emotional intelligence in inspiring and cause opposites. It explores the neuroscience research on the role of emotions in lead appearance and examines different organizational structures and frameworks with a focus on how leadership adapts to be successful in different organizations. There is a significant focus on individual leadership where students position their witness leadership aspirations, behaviors, and styles.

II. Teaching Methods

Format/Methodology: The depicted object of leadership will be explored using active homework and cooperative learning techniques, including interactive suit of clothes studies, group discussions, and other activities. Students will be expected to complete outside-class assignments. The case rule and the Socratic method of belief are used extensively and are designed to promote both critical idea and strategic thinking skills.
Case Method: A case is a text that describes a real-life situation, providing information but non analysis.



The case method of teaching involves small-group and/or large-group discussion in which the students develop analyses of the situation through intensive discussion, debate, dialogue, and sometimes role playing. Cases may also be used as the terra firma of written assignments requiring student analysis.
Socratic Method: Socratic teaching is the oldest and most powerful tactic for fostering creative thinking. In Socratic teaching, the instructor focuses on giving students incredulitys, not answers. The instructor helps the students arrive at their own conclusions or find their own answers by continually probing and asking them questions that provoke purpose and discussion.
