Romeo says this referring to Rosaline, it shows how deeply in love he was with her. Also, in the next scene he quickly falls in love with Juliet. This is proven when Romeo says For I neer saw true beauty till this night in Act 1, scene 5, line 52. Romeo says this when he first sees Juliet at the Capulet party. Juliet also realizes Romeos quickness in falling in love in Act 2,Scene 2,lines 117-118 when she says It is too rash, too undisd too sudden. She means in this line, that Romeo falling in love with her was too quick and sudden. At the end of the play Romeo dies because of Juliet. Proving that this was his tragic flaw.
