Vladimirs first travail in a new place was to cleave the name of revolution out. He joined with a few of his comrades and from there they developed the newspaper Iskra meaning The Spark. This newspaper was considered as the positive ideas of the Russian Social Democratic Party. Iskra was successful not that as a Marxist organ of an emerging actor party, but also as a highly express militant political journal of extreme left views (Trotsky, 70). Vladimir was truly proud of his work in the newspaper.
In this newspaper he had two main objectives that he focused on; he aimed to unite the scattered circles of Marxist groups, he wanted them to all work as one political working level movement. Another topic that Vladimir focused on was the peasant question.
As I said before I was very impressed with Vladimirs intelligence and often wondered why he did not finish his work as a lawyer, but I guess that becoming a revolutionary leader was what he always had in mind for himself.
