Summary: The topic of this research was that of the car put corpse in the Coleraine campus of the University of Ulster. The aim of the study was to determine if any mark was caused to students due to the car parking system, and if so, to what purpose. The research was conducted through a series of heighten groups, as this proved to be a hail effective research method while allowing a vast quantity of training to be collected. There were cxl students who were chosen to take part in the research, all of which were second year Psychology student. The students were divided into focus on groups with each focus group containing around 9 students. There were 9 focus groups in total, of which only 7 were analysed, due to unclear recordings.
From the information collected it became very clear that the majority of students held a minus view towards the workings of the car parking system, with the majority of students claiming that tension was definitely an issue, and some even claiming that their studies were greatly affected, as they were unable(p) to concentrate in lectures due to the stress caused by the car parking system.

Although the main recommendation identify forward by the students was to create more spaces this was an unavailable option, therefore it was though that parking within the university grounds should be free of charge, or that annual ticket holders should get priority parking as the cost of parking appeared to be one of the main issues. However, it was also put forward that it should be up to the students to a certain extent to take responsibility in assuring a parking space, in that they should arrive early or use popular transport, avoiding the use of the car parking system entirely.
